Tokyo is a dream destination for anime lovers, and what better way to immerse yourself in the culture than by experiencing a cosplay photoshoot in one of the city’s unique settings?

On April 5, 2025, anime-loving travelers from overseas found our Samurai Studio Ichi in Tokyo!
We had anime costumes displayed on mannequins, and the moment she entered the room and saw the outfits, her excitement skyrocketed.
She was incredibly satisfied with the cosplay experience. We did a photo shoot in a traditional Japanese kominka (old house) in Tokyo first, and then, since it was cherry blossom season, we went outside in full cosplay to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
She also wore traditional geta sandals, which she loved, and had a great time taking lots of photos. Seeing her so happy made us happy too!
Cosplay Street Stroll Amid Cherry Blossoms
Cherry blossoms are extremely popular among foreign travelers in Japan.
While not many people know about Tsukishima in Tokyo, it actually has beautiful cherry blossoms. It’s a hidden spot for hanami (cherry blossom viewing)!
We recommend Ishikawajima Park, Tsukuda Park, and Sumiyoshi Shrine in Tsukishima. You can enjoy the beautiful Somei Yoshino blossoms at the end of March every year!
Cosplaying during cherry blossom season is highly recommended in Tokyo.
